Day with the Queen

Your Next Move
starts here…

22nd October: A day for women in business who want clarity, connection and a little bit of magic

This is not a conference

You won’t sit in rows for eight hours. You won’t be talked AT. You won’t leave with a bag full of brochures and a head full of mush.

Day with the Queen is something else entirely. Part keynote, part masterclass, part marketplace, part long lunch with women who get it.

This year’s theme is Your Next Move, and by the end of the day, you’ll know exactly what yours is.

And yes, there are surprises.

Women.

Capped intentionally. You won’t get lost.

Expert masterclasses.

You choose the one you need most.

Keynote.

And one afternoon surprise.

Connections

That stay long after the day ends.

Event Countdown in on.

The Keynote

Selling, but make it you

You know that feeling when you have to “sell” something and your whole body tenses up? The over-explaining. The discounting before they’ve even asked.

What if selling was actually the most generous thing you do in your business? I’ll show you what becomes possible when selling stops feeling like performance and starts feeling like service.

A signed copy of my brand new book on selling without the ick will be yours to take home on the day!

Choose your adventure

Three masterclasses. Three experts. 45 minutes of teaching, 15 minutes of Q&A, in rooms small enough that you can actually ask the question you came with. Pick the one that matters most for where your business is right now.

Socials
with Bec Stenner

Walk out with a social media strategy that works harder for you so you can stop posting into the void and start posting with purpose.

Finances
with Sarah Petty

Walk out understanding your numbers, so the decisions you’re making in your business are backed by data, not guesswork.

Mindset and Speaking
with Sashua Benay

Walk out with the mindset and the voice to show up as the woman people remember on stage, on camera, and in the room.

Introducing your hosts

Emma McQueen
Founder & Keynote Speaker

Warm, sharp and very, very funny. Fabulous and Brilliant!

Not sure if this is for you?

This day is for you if…
  • You’re done with conferences that leave you inspired but no further ahead
  • You want practical skills AND real connections, not one or the other
  • You’re craving a room full of women who are ambitious, generous and fun
  • You learn best when you’re doing, not just listening
  • You’re ready to figure out your next move and actually make it

Not for you if…

  • You want to sit in the back row and check your emails
  • You’re looking for a day of passive listening
  • You’re not willing to meet new people, have a laugh, and maybe get a little uncomfortable in the best possible way

Day with the Queen had everything I expect from an Emma McQueen event - lots of laughter, inspirational speakers, conversations with incredible women, and a good dose of surprise and delight! It was a wonderful reminder of how rewarding it is to step out of your business for a day to connect with others. So worth the time and investment - I'll be back for the next one!

What I loved most about Day with the Queen, I loved the energy, the laughter and the connection to other women in business. This is hands down for women in business. I'm five years in myself and I walked away feeling energised and challenged. I spoke to women who were in start-up and 10 or more years in and I think if you have a good vibe and you want to connect and learn (and share) this is for you. See you there!

120 women who get it

Why this room matters

We cap this room at 120 women on purpose.

Big enough that you’ll meet people who change the trajectory of your business. Small enough that you won’t get lost in the crowd.

The women who come to Day with the Queen are ambitious without being ruthless. Generous without being soft. Real about the hard bits and ready to celebrate the wins. They’re the kind of women who’ll introduce you to someone in their network before you’ve finished your coffee.

You don’t need to come knowing anyone. You’ll leave knowing the right ones.

Our Sponsors

Want to be in the room as a sponsor? We have a handful of sponsorship packages available for businesses who want to put themselves in front of 120 ambitious women in business.
If that sounds like you, drop me an email HERE I’d love to chat.

A day that GIVES BACK

Every Day with the Queen supports a cause close to Emma’s heart. In 2026, a portion of every ticket sold goes to Safe Steps Victoria’s 24/7 family violence response centre, helping women and children who need safety, support and a way forward.

When you buy your ticket, you’re not just investing in your own next move. You’re helping another woman take hers.

Frequently Asked Questions

I don't know anyone. Will I feel awkward?

Most women come solo. The day is built around making connections easy, structured introductions, seating that’s planned (not random), and a long lunch where conversations actually happen. You won’t be the only one walking in alone, and you won’t be alone for long.

What should I wear?

Day with the Queen is all about feeling like a queen. Most women come in smart casual, some like to dress up, and others add a little sparkle. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and maybe a little bit royal.
One tip from someone who’s done this a few times: if you’re wearing heels, throw some comfy shoes in your bag. You’ll thank me in the afternoon.

Where is it and how do I get there?

The venue is Glasshouse, on Olympic Boulevard, Melbourne. Public transport and parking options will be shared in your pre-event email.

Do I need to bring my laptop?

No. Bring something to take notes if you like, but this isn’t a day where you need to be working. You’re here to learn, connect and be fully present, not to answer emails between sessions.

Can I get a refund or transfer my ticket?

Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you can’t make it, you’re welcome to send another woman in your place. Just let us know who’s coming by Thursday 8 October, so we can update the run sheet.

Will the sessions be recorded?

No. Day with the Queen is an in-the-room experience. The conversations, the connections and the energy don’t translate to a recording, and we want every woman in the room fully present, not performing for a camera.

I'm just starting out. Is this for me?

Yes. We have women in the room who are five weeks into their business and women who are fifteen years in. The format is built so that whatever stage you’re at, you walk out with something useful.

I've been in business for years. Will I get value?

Yes. The keynote, the masterclasses and the women in the room will stretch you regardless of stage. Some of the most experienced women in the room tell us this is the day they finally get to think about THEIR business, instead of everyone else’s.

Is lunch included? Dietaries?

Yes, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are all included. You’ll be asked about dietaries when you book.
